"Every circumstance in life, no matter how crooked and distorted and ugly it appears to be, if reacted to in love and forgiveness and obedience to your will can be transformed. Therefore I begin to think, my Lord, you purposely allow us to be brought into contact with the bad and evil things that you want changed."

This is the essence of Romans 8:28 "ALL THINGS work together for the good…" Sometimes really awful, evil things happen to kids and adults to men and women, all different colors and religious backgrounds. Bad things happen. There are two things you can do, be a victim or be a victor. When we choose to be bitter we become the victim. When we choose to forgive the victory is attainable. When bad things happen, good CAN come out of it! Romans 8:28 declares it is so! My life declares it is so and I am not alone in that statement. So many people have looked evil in the face and said, "I will find good in this." Some times the evil and bad things are changed or converted and sometimes it is US that is changed. But ALL things work for good and can bring about change for the good.

Prayer: Lord you know that evil has touched my life. You know how I have reacted to it. Lord, if I still harbor anger and bitterness and unforgiveness bring it to the surface and purge it out of me. Let me see good come out of evil things, that I had no control over. God never let me forget the promise you have made that ALL things work together for the good for those that love you.
