A Walk With Jane Austen - Book Review
by Janel Messenger - Editor

A Walk With Jane Austen by Lori Smith

As a lover of all things Jane Austen, I completely enjoyed A Walk with Jane Austen. I was never once left wanting with this funny, reflective and insightful book.

A Walk is Smith's memoir of her month long adventure visiting the places from Austen's life. It contains reflections and historic facts on the faith and character of Jane Austen, as well as parallels between the two authors. Smith sets out with hopes of adventure and maybe even meeting her own Mr. Darcy. She leaves with much to think about.

A Walk is much more than a memoir. I came away reflective and encouraged, feeling that I liked Miss Austen much more than I already did.
